We are excited to announce our emcees for the upcoming Rogue Winter Classic in association with CrossFit!
These guys are definitely not new to CrossFit, as they are both CrossFit Regionals and Games announcers who travel the globe announcing for our sport.
We are extremely lucky to have the opportunity to bring their talents here to Northeast Ohio, and look forward to bringing their high-energy announcing to the athletes competing in our event!
Mike Richards is a CrossFit Regionals and Games announcer from Kent, Ohio. He started calling the action at CrossFit competitions in 2014 at the CrossFit Games South Regional competition. Since then, he has been announcing all over the world with CrossFit at some of the largest events in our sport, including the CrossFit Games in both Carson California as well as in Madison Wisconsin. Mike is also a proud veteran and Lieutenant Firefighter/Paramedic of 20 years with the Brimfield Ohio Fire Department.
Larry Moss is a veteran CrossFit Games and regionals announcer hailing from SW Louisiana. He began his career with CrossFit competitions in 2011 at the CrossFit Games South-Central regional. He has since announced all over the country on some of the biggest floors in the sport including the CrossFit Games in both Carson California, as well as in Madison Wisconsin.
Along with time spent calling the action in the most exciting sport in the world, Larry also serves as the Commander for the 20-member SWAT team at Lake Charles Police Department in south west Louisiana. Larry was a pioneer in the functional fitness movement within his department and as a matter of fact, their team uses the CrossFit Hero WOD “Murph“ as the semi-annual SWAT qualifier for all tactical team members.
Larry is also a proud veteran of the United States Navy. He holds a very special place in his heart for events revolving around our veterans. As well as organizations that dedicate themselves to all facets of our veteran community.
